The Campus
Paul Mitchell The School Dallas is located in the suburb of Carrollton, offering many area attractions in its own vicinity as well as easy access to the Dallas-Fort Worth area and its myriad shopping, dining, and entertainment options. In addition, neighboring cities Irving and Plano made the 2012 list of the top 20 Cities with the Happiest Young Professionals.
Our high-tech facilities offer a fully equipped atmosphere for study, including student lounge and lockers, client reception and work areas, management offices, private classrooms, workstations, and equipment.
The Programs
You can choose from our Cosmetology, Esthetics, or Instructor programs. Cosmetology offers a 1,500-hour curriculum to satisfy Texas state requirements; Esthetics and Instructor divisions require 750 hours. There is additionally a 500-hour option for those interested in becoming beauty instructors. Paul Mitchell The School Dallas also offers continuing advanced education for licensed professionals.
Our programs are helmed by state-licensed instructors who are also successful professionals continuing to work in salons and spas as time permits. We are passionately committed to providing a strong educational foundation in the pursuit of excellence. When people come first, success follows!
We offer both day and evening classes, as well as a slate of summer school offerings for those wanting to get a jump on the fall rush. Scholarships and financial aid are available.
Giving Back
Each year, thousands of students and staff members from the nationwide network of Paul Mitchell cosmetology schools donate their time, talent, and energy to support a variety of charitable causes, raising and donating over $15.2 million in the past 12 years.
In addition to working with established charities, we perform charitable services such as providing hair care to the poor and underprivileged, helped beauty industry professionals rebuild their salons and careers in the wake of natural disasters, and supported individuals and organizations that benefit hairstylists.
We also have a “reduce, reuse, and recycle” policy through the school, with student-led “Green Teams” working to reduce our carbon footprint and educate the community to do the same.
